Terms of the Festival of Talents in 2026

• 1. Applications will open on 17 April 2026. For underage applicants, the application must be submitted by a legal guardian.
• 2. The application deadline is 15 May 2026.
• 3. The schedule of the competition showcase will be published by 30 May 2026 on the competition website http://www.netvp.eu.
• 4. The participation fee of CZK 1,000 is payable at the Information Centre of the competition showcase no later than on the day of registration.
• 5. All travel expenses, meals, and accommodation during the competition showcase are to be covered by the participants themselves. The organizer of the competition showcase provides all competitors free of charge with promotional materials, rehearsal facilities, and organizational support.
• 6. The organizer does not provide piano accompaniment.
• 7. Performing the entire competition repertoire from memory in all categories of the competition showcase is mandatory.
• 8. Underage competitors must be accompanied by a legal guardian or an authorized person throughout the entire duration of the competition showcase.
• 9. In the event of a significant exceedance of the time limit of the competition programme in the second round, the jury reserves the right to interrupt the performance prematurely in all competition categories.
• 10. In the first round of the competition showcase, competitors shall perform in an order drawn by lot prior to the start of the relevant category. The time and place of the draw will be specified in the competition schedule.
• 11. The draw for the performance order in the second round of the competition showcase in age categories **3–6** will take place immediately after the announcement of the results of the first round of the respective category.
• 12. A competitor who fails to attend the draw on time will not be admitted to the competition showcase.
• 13. The processing and handling of personal data is carried out in accordance with the GDPR. By submitting the application, the adult competitor, or the legal guardian of an underage competitor, agrees to the terms and conditions of the competition showcase and to the processing of the competitor’s personal data for documentation and promotional purposes. Visual and audio recordings from the competition showcase may be used by the organizer for promotional purposes without any entitlement to remuneration on the part of the competitors or their legal guardians, including their piano accompanists.
• 14. The competition showcase takes place in the building of the Slávie Cultural Centre, Jirsíkova 243, 370 01 České Budějovice. All competitors and their accompanying persons are required to comply with the safety regulations and instructions of the competition organizer.
• 15. All information during the competition showcase will be available at the Information Centre in the building of the Slávie Cultural Centre, Jirsíkova 243, 370 01 České Budějovice.
• 16. The capacity of the competition showcase is limited. Competitors will be admitted in the order in which applications are received. Once the capacity of the competition showcase has been reached, the acceptance of applications will be closed.
